Membership

 

• We operate as a charitable trust and have a contract with Capital & Coast District Health Board to provide specialist day care for people with dementia living in the Wellington area.

• After assessment by Capital and Coast Care Coordination Centre, a subsidy may be granted for attendance.

• Members may also attend privately but the assessment process is recommended to ensure you are aware of all the available help.

           If you have friends or relatives who would benefit from some time out and social contact, please contact us  at either club.

 

What do we provide?

• The Trusts, known as 'clubs with members', provide a quality day care programme in safe and home-like surroundings for people with Alzheimers disease and other neurological disorders.

• We welcome people who are living at home and would benefit from the companionship of others and our specific programme.

• We offer guidance for carers and families in their home, supporting their needs, at home and in the community.

• We value each member as a unique individual and treat everyone professionally, maintaining dignity, privacy and confidentiality.

• We provide a wide range of activities, appropriate to the ability and interest of our groups.
